We evaluate risk by reviewing the relevancy and adequacy of controls. Based upon our risk assessment, we advise the client on selecting the method of testing controls that is most beneficial to them, such as whether to use random or actual tests. A successful audit ultimately depends upon the auditor’s judgment and the client’s relationship with them. We ensure this relationship is positive and mutually beneficial. In the event that a disagreement arises between the client and auditor, our services can minimize tax assessments through the appeals process by reversing the auditor's misinterpretation or misapplication of law and fact.
